How it is calculated.
Equal split: half each. Proportional split: expense × individual income ÷ combined income. The second share absorbs rounding to the nearest cent.
A proportional split requires at least one positive income. Choose the method that works for you together. This tool calculates two shares without subtracting payments already made.
